永而佳基金会发扬国际主义精神，资助尼日利亚困难学生完成学业

2021年9月8日，香港日照同鄉聯誼會會員企業山東永而佳電子科技有限公司向我會尼日利亞籍會員ALABI
Tobi Michael（以下簡稱“Michael”）捐贈總計兩萬四千元港幣獎學金，用於幫助其遠在尼日利亞的即將入讀大學的妹妹ALABI
Omotola Adeola Beatrice完成學業。
On
September 8th 2021, Shandong Yongerjia Electronics Technology Co.,
Ltd., the member enterprise of the Hong Kong Rizhao Association (HKRZA),
donated a total of HKD 24,000 scholarship to ALABI Tobi Michael
(hereinafter referred to as "Michael") to help his sister, ALABI Omotola
Adeola Beatrice, an upcoming university student in Nigeria, to finish
her studies.
Michael是香港理工大學和南方科技大學聯合培養的碩博連讀生，師從香港日照同鄉聯誼會常務副會長呂琳教授，Michael品學兼優，入學兩年內，在零碳零能源系統控制和優化領域已發表頂尖學術國際期刊SCI論文4篇。日常生活中，他對中國文化特別是齊魯文化有濃厚興趣，聽說香港山東社團總會和香港日照同鄉聯誼會今年成立後，主動申請入會以便能更多接觸和學習中國文化，並積極參與同鄉聯誼會活動，也殷切希望更多瞭解山東省和日照市。Michael
is a MPhil-PhD based student in the joint PhD program offered by The
Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Southern University of Science and
Technology. He is supervised by Professor Lu Lin Vivien, executive vice
president of HKRZA. Michael is an excellent student with a good academic
performance. During the first two years of his PhD study, he has
published 4 articles in top academic journals in the field of
zero-carbon zero energy system control and optimization. In daily life,
he is very interested in Chinese culture, especially QILU culture. After
heard the establishment of the Federation of HK Shandong Community
Organizations (FHKSDCO) and the HKRZA, he applied to join the HKRZA to
have more chances to learn Chinese culture. He also actively
participates in activities of HKRZA and hopes to know more about
Shandong Province and Rizhao City.Michael參與慶祝中國共產黨建黨100周年暨香港回歸24周年活動Michael
participated in the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the
founding of the CPC and the 24th anniversary of the Return of Hong Kong通過香港理工大學和南方科技大學博士聯合培養，Michael獲得了良好的教育科研條件，但是遠在祖國尼日利亞奧約州伊巴丹仍有弟弟妹妹由於經濟條件不能接受良好教育。Michael的媽媽去年肝癌去世，父親已經有新家庭，弟妹失去生活依靠，生活比較拮据，作為長兄決定利用自己的獎學金鼓勵弟弟和妹妹繼續高中學業並申請入讀大學。香港日照同鄉聯誼會楊洪文會長聽聞此事備受感動，決定通過個人公司的“永而佳慈善基金”對Michael即將入讀Leed
City University大學的妹妹ALABI Omotola Adeola
Beatrice進行每年6000元連續四年總計兩萬四千元的資助。Through
the joint PhD program offered by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
and Southern University of Science and Technology, Michael has obtained
good educational and scientific research conditions. Whereas Michael’s
sister and brother are still unable to receive good education due to the
poor economic conditions in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Michael's
mother died of liver cancer last year, and his father had a
remarried family. Lost the support of their parents, his brother and
sister lead relatively difficult lives. As the eldest brother,
Michael decided to use his scholarship to support his brother and sister
to continue their high school and higher education. Yang Hongwen,
president of HKRZA, decided to sponsor ALABI Omotola Adeola Beatrice,
Michael’s sister with 6,000 HKD for four consecutive years (total
24,000.00 HKD) through the "Winnerjoin Charity Fund" of his company.

is always a pleasure to greet a friend from afar". Friendly Shandong
always has a good tradition of helping people. Nigeria is an important
country in the "One Belt One Road". Nigeria is also a friendly
country of China in tradition. This donation of HKRZA is an active
response to the initiative "Build a community with a shared future for
mankind" proposed by President Xi Jinping and an international extension
of the "Taishan Care Action" of FHKSDCO. This helps to spread
China's duty as a big power, friendly Shandong, and helpful
impression of Rizhao with the “One Belt One Road”.

expressed her gratitude to his supervisor Professor Lu Lin Vivien and
the donation representative Ms.Zhong Dan. Ms.Xiong Lushan,
secretary-general of the FHKSDCO congratulated Michael and encouraged
his brother and sister to continue their studies and build their
motherland with what they learned.

hometown friends in Hong Kong came to witness the event and planned to
join the Hong Kong Rizhao Association. Ms. Zhong Dan presented them with
Hong Kong Rizhao Association souvenirs.

her gratitude to the HKRZA. She promises to repay the help of HKRZA with
outstanding achievements. She would like to contribute to building a
